Firemen's Fall Fest

Great Food, Great Music, Great Company

Fried local catfish will be one of the attractions of the eighth annual Firemen’s Fall Fest on Sept. 26 at the Marshall County Fairgrounds livestock arena.

 

A beer garden will open at 4 p.m. The Blue Rapids firemen will start serving fish at 5 p.m. The menu includes fried fish, baked beans, chips, potato salad and iced tea. A freewill offering will be taken. Money made at the fest will go to the Blue Rapids fireworks fund.

 

Marshall County Arts Cooperative and Blue Rapids Rural District No. 7 Fire Department are co-sponsors of the event.

 

Rewind band will provide music from 5 to 8 p.m. Nashville singer Gabe Walsh, a Blue Rapids native, will perform from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m.

The Beach Boys Live at Alcove Spring

America's Favorite Band Coming to Marshall County

July 31, 2021

The Beach Boys will bring their California lifestyle to Marshall County July 31, 2021.  Billed as America’s favorite band, they will perform a two act concert Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Alcove Spring Historic Park, six miles south of Marysville, Kan. and six miles north of Blue Rapids, Kan.  Gates to the park open at 3 p.m. with music starting at 6 p.m.

 

Tickets are on sale and may be purchased at mcactickets.com.  Tickets are $95 for pit experience, $75 for mid-park, and $55 for general admission.  Children three and under are admitted free.
